It's the end of the school year, so it's late June at the beginning of the film. Early July at a push if you make some assumptions about the school term being different in the MCU. The passport from the trailer and the passport stamps on the poster also place the bulk of the film in July.
The episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 6. It's the 1-year anniversary of Coulson's death in Episode 1, and through the season they've referred to it being a year since events just after Season 5.
Hi. The timeline became a mess, but we're just following what the season says: "One year later". Season 5 Finale (that officially coincides with the events of Infinity War) is not set before 2018 (until proven otherwise).
Season 5, Episodes 19-22 take place at the same time as Infinity War (explicitly shown in Season 5, Episode 8 to be "2018", as well as mountains of other evidence for Spring/early Summer 2018).
Season 6, Episode 1 takes place the day before the one-year anniversary of Coulson's death, and Coulson died a few weeks after Season 5, Episode 22. It's currently April, May, June, or July 2019, and there's no bending things to make it fit those statements, which are made just as a hand-wave reason for not addressing the Snap.
I mean, no matter where you place it in the timeline the jump would put it after Infinity War, since wherever you put the end of Season 5, there too is Infinity War - they're inextricably simultaneous. Infinity War would need to span 13 months start to finish. It spans 24 hours.
I've been confused ever since I watched Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Endgame. Why does it say aletrnate timeline? First off, Peggy marries a man who was saved by Captain America during World War II. We still haven't received any info of her husband. My guess its Daniel Sousa. Second, since Steve returned to 1945 or 1949, he married Peggy would probably mean that she never married the man that she married in the main timeline, and the kids she had with that guy never existed. Does that mean Steve accidentally went back in time and erased Peggy’s children from history?
However, that might not be the case. I don't think Peggy's children were erased. I assume that Peggy Carter's Husband is actually Steve Rogers and the Peggy's son and daughter and actually Steve's children. They married in secret, had a son and daughter shown in the picture. In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Steve looked at the pics featuring Peggy's son and daughter. But there's something else. Its not showing her husband, which leaves a mystery.
In 1953, Peggy gave an interview about Captain America, which is what we see being played in the Captain America exhibit at the Smithsonian. In the interview, she talked about how Steve saved the man who would later become her husband, which suggests that he was part of one of the groups that Steve freed during the war, but doesn't give a name and there are no identifying pictures. Even everything on Peggy's nightstand — with the pictures of her family — leaves everything suspiciously vague. It's just her and her children. That makes me think that Peggy's son and daughter are actually Steve's children. Maybe that's the answer.
You do realize you're posting these on your own talk page so people aren't gonna see it unless they specifically decide to come here to leave you a message, right? It's like you're speaking into the void. "if anyone has suggestions" -> perhaps leave the message where people can see it.
Anyways, came here to ask: how do you know Maggie and Jim died in the snap??
To answer your question, it's likely that Peggy was lying in the interview and her husband was Cap all along, living under a different name. (Sorry this is very late, but I hope that my answer helped anyway)
Everything is in the Timeline Discussion thread but to sumarize.
In a visit to the set a dource claimed something: The Season begins right after The Defenders but then there is a significant time jump that is never mentioned in the Season.
Karen says minths. Foggy sayd minths. But both ocassions happened while they were lying.
Matt says couple of months but that is impossible because that would put it before the Punisher which is firmly set in November and December 2016. It would also put it before Jessica Jones April June 2017. Before Lule cage August Sept 2017 and Iron Fist Jan Feb 2018...
We are working it out. We have been working in the timeline for a serious amount of time now anf it is not the first time a lot of mistakes have been made. We will work it out. And I hope you trust in our work.
