Part of it is my computer appreantly cannot handle me adding a large number of images. The times I atempted this, my computer completly froze up on me when I tried to publish it and I ended up having to restart my computer.
Then there are times images are not in the correct chronolgical order in their gallery to beging with and I find it easier to do 1 image at a time so I can add them in the correct order. Also at times I've not been recived the credit for the whole number of images I've added to galleries. For example, I once added 18 images and only recived half that number of total images added. After I add an image I go and see if that's been counted towards number of images added to a gallery.
Personaly, I don't like the idea of being the solo person who adds all of the images already uploaded in an already existing gallery to a new gallery.
How did I do it wrong? I did it no differently then I've always done. I cliked on the gallery Edit, find where the image goes in the sequence, cliked to add the image to the gallery then publish the edit. I've been doing it this way for a while and no one has ever stated that I've added an image in the incorrect way.
No problem, that is the same way I do it, copying it from other images. Just try to make sure you copy is the correct way, and make sure the incorrect one is fixed aswell. Atleast you add the source and licensing, not everyone does that, so good job!
I'm starting to get very upset with the Image edits. Lately it seems that if I added an image of a book cover to character galleries, the full number of edita isn't being atributed to overall number of edits to then next Collector Badge. Sometimes only half of the number of edits is counted. Recently I added a book cover image to 19 galleries but 11 of thise edits were not accounted for. It seems like 8 edits s the cut off point.
I brought the issue up with Admi. Shabook and he suggested that it might be due to the image already beeing in the gallery. I'm afraid that's not the case as the book covers images I've been adding don't have a gallery dedicated to them on their character galleries.
If you're interested, I've come across a site which has all the HD stills from AoS, AC and the full NetflixVerse... There's a lot of images there which I've never seen anywhere else so if there's anything you'd like to upload, it's a good resource.
Could be more beneficial to upload these to the wiki rather than frame by frame stills of the same scenes?
Has anyone else experienced this problem: you go to add a certain picture to a gallery but it's not selecting that picture but if you select another picture that someone else has uploaded earlier it will go ahead and go through the process of adding that picture?
True but that would be a comic book storytelling device and they, both the films and TV shows, don't like using comic book logic for their stories. Look at Baron Strucker, they could have had him be the same character in Captain America: Super Soldier and done it to where he had been injected with versions of the super soldier serum that either slowed down his aging or revitalized him like Whitehall's serum had done.
I've recently come across a few pictures that show the stunt doubles of certain characters and I was wondering if they would be placed in the gallery of that character even though it's not the actual actor who plays them or if they are just added to the Behind the Scenes Section of that film's gallery.
When a character or characters appears in a scene in a movie or TV show but only as images on on a video screen or holoimage, that image of them counts as actual appearance of that character and is able to be placed in the corresponding movie/TV show gallery for that character, correct?
