Hey, I'm here to ask you to please stop edit warring on Captain Marvel. The MCU Wiki defines Edit Warring as constantly reverting edits back and forth within a short span of time. IF a use reverts the same edit three times within a short span of time, it is a violation of the "three-revert" rule. I explained that your deletion was unnecessary, and will proceed to explain that I provided four examples for my contribution that are all extremely valid. You, however, have not left any edit summaries to explain your side. If you have a reason for seeing your edits as legitimate, feel free to reply here as an alternative to edit warring.
You should read the wiki policies regarding the three-revert rule, here:
From the link above: "This policy does not apply to self-reverts, correcting simple vandalism, or reversions for the purpose of maintenance, or reverting the edits of a banned or blocked user."
I don't think you had bad intentions and wanted to vandalize it, but nothing in that word salad you keep trying to add has anything to do with reality. Adding false information is a blockable offense. Remember, an edit war has two sides. You kept putting it back as well, which is why you received a message from an admin on your wall, which you should definitely check out, since you brought up the three-revert rule.
First off, the edit wasn't vandalism and there's no way it could possibly be false information. Unless you want to remove the parts about her being brash and arrogant as well as sadistic and homicidal. And proceed to remove the parts about Iron Man being prideful, or Whiplash being vindictive, or Malekith being filled with rage, or Wanda being naive, 'cuz they're there. If you're such an MCU fanboy that you're going to delete everything written about the flaws of major characters...
Second, if they're going to take your side that only shows the wiki is going downhill because its admins side with mindless bias.
You're missing the point of my claims regarding Iron Man; Whiplash; etc. I said that the wiki acknowledged their less virtuous and praiseworthy traits, not you specifically, and that it was perfectly normal.
How am I being excessively confrontational, Shabook? I've seen less neutral claims about Ronan the Accuser (sadistic), Thanos (delusional), Rocket Raccoon (pessimistic), etc., so unless you're implying this wiki needs a serious cleanse, I'm not sure I understand what mistake you think I made.
Also, the wiki acknowledging the characters' less virtuous and praiseworthy traits is one thing, going over Ronan the Accuser article's personality section and literally copying it, word by word, into Captain Marvel's is a troll move.
The point of Iron Man 2 was for Tony to create the new element as the palladium poisoned him; the arc reactor was powering both himselff (keeping the shrapnel out of his heart) as well as powering the armors. Following his surgery in the third Iron Man, his arc reactors would only power the suit and not him. Therefore we wouldn't be sure if the arc reactors he uses from them on would contain palladium or the new element; he could have maintained the element, but it would be speculation.
That's a good point that I had forgotten. But still, the new arc reactor was a complete improvement. It was more stable specifically because the new element lasts longer. With the Palladium ones, he kept swapping the Palladium fuel every now and then. With the new ones, we never ever see him do such a thing. Sure, you could say "we never SEE him do it, so it's just speculation" but come on, it's obviously implied, with the way he never worries about refueling it again after he starts using the new element. So there's no reason why he would go back to an inferior design.

The reason he was swapping it out was because the palladium was powering his heart AND the suits, and thus were running out very fast (they were pulling double duty).
After having the reactor removed from his chest, any palladium arc reactor would not be running out as much as they would only be using power when an Iron Man suit is activated, whereas before they were active 24/7 inside Tony's chest. So naturally, it ran out very fast.
There's no proof that the New Element lasts longer on its own vs the palladium one, is there? Factoring in the fact that the cores do not perform double duty any more; it's just to power the suits. If the New Element was proven to last longer, then yes, one could say Tony would still use it rather than revert back. But to do so other wise would be speculation.
I think that's why anything after the third Iron Man wasn't listed on the page, with Endgame being there because of the 2012 Time Heist Tony's reactor.
OK I have my doubts now. You can revert my edit if you want to. I won't undo it.
But I don't think a small little magnet in his chest to keep away shrapnel needs any significant amount of power, compared to a suit with, like, 500 different functionalities and laser weapons. Saying it was working "double" duty because of it, is itself speculation.
We have noticed that you used the Visual Mode for your recent contributions. However, due to the high number of glitches and problems that it causes, the community has agreed to make Source Mode the only editing mode allowed in the wiki.
Please make sure to change it in the Special:Preferences page, editing tab, before your next edit. Thank you!
No, I'm talking to you, and I ask you to not using the "Visual Mode" anymore, even for a minor edit, just remember that Source Mode is the only editing mode allowed in this wiki, as Visual Mode is not allowed due to the high number of glitches and problems it has caused. Thanks!
Thank you! That's nice of you.
And there's more to come, but the remaining incomplete pages need some detail that I can't at the moment recall clearly. I'll have to find some time to watch the movie again.
Gonna watch CM again, this time at home on Friday. Otherwise, I'll just keep strolling around the wiki every now and then, picking a random page and section and reading it to see if there's something wrong with it. Which is how I do it most of the time :)
I see. Bc of my work I've been late with 2 seasons that already came out, but I watch them all. :)
As you did such an amazing job with CM related pages, do you think you could upload a few better pic of Bron-Char? Unfortunatly I do now own a copy of the movie :/
I don't know if you notice if I make changes in Google Drive, but I try to make edits there as well. Like I emailed you yesterday, I do think it is in some ways better than this wiki. I'm starting to get into Google Drive now :)
I don't think you can make edits there as I only added you as a viewer, not an editor, reason being these are my personal files, on which I have worked hundreds (literally) hours, so pls don't edit them. However if you have a suggestion, I'm happy to read it here. ;)
Again, thank you for your help here on the wikia, but what's on my drive is kinda like my own project. I'm happy to work with you here, as I do so with other editors for years now, but I only shared it to show my passion :)
I'm also only temrorarly storing it in the cloud as I usually store it on my own pc. And than I'm printing every single page to keep it and collect it that way.
So if you'd like to help, it's more than welcomed here on the Wikia ;)
Same here hahaha :D It's nice to have some break from all the series and movies.. We've once took the stubs down to about 600... now it's at 1000 pages... sooo much.. And ppl get a bit tired trying to keep up the pace. So it's nice to see someone working lots. There is an other guy, TraceFinder User:TraceFinder with whom I've been working together for like almost 2 years now :) nice to have a smaller group to work together with.
Great job on Minn-Erva by the way :) I also added a bit myself :)
We're near to go below 1000 in Stub pages :) What are your plans for next? Do you think you could help me expand Att-Lass's bio into? ;)
Those are the hundreds of pages he already finished, my friend :)
Great job! What do you have in mind? Sticking with the movies or this time a series? The Netflix shows are in the biggest need of help, if you ask my opinion. Not to mention they are bloody dayum good! DD is my fav :3
