Greetings. I am aware you are a former Admin of the MCU Wiki, so I have come to you for help.
For some reason most people don't like my edits. In fact they've been rather... hostile... a STARK (pun intended. Yes, I'm sorry) difference from the users on Dicussions. I personally feel a lot of the negativity towards me has been unfair, however, some have brought up some good points. I'm not unreasonable.
I'm just gonna ask a couple questions, if that's okay. I'm just gonna start with one for now, in case you decide you don't want me asking questions.
Let's start with something simple: I've had someone complain I updated the Valkyrie (vehichle) page because it appeared in flashback in the series premiere of Agent Carter and I added that under TV appearances. Exactly as I should have, in the correct format and all. Did I do something wrong?
I must say, I am very impressed as to how you keep making the images in the concept art easier to see, especially after all that glossy, reflective material on the pages.
I'm just curious as to what kind of process you use to clean up these images. It's a very godly process.
Also, I'm having an issue making out an image in the top left corner, page 206 of the Endgame artbook, about a Thanos design by Ian Joyner. If it's not too much, is it okay for you to show me a cleaned up version of the image so that I can see it better, pretty please?
I have watched new episodes of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD and in the episodes that I have seen Altarah in, characters refer to her as "Atarah". Which is why I think her page should be renamed from Altarah to Atarah.
1 - Groot: Groot is still alive and still is a Guardian, so he will clearly appear in Guardians 3, it couldn't more obvious.
2 - Thor: James Gunn confirmed the movie takes event after Endgame, so Thor will obviously appear in Guardians 3, he is part of the team now.
3 - Gamora: the movie will clearly show the Guardians searching for her past self.
That would be considered speculation (even though it's pretty much a given it's gonna happen), but this wikia, speculation is frowned upon, and is a no-no. You'd need an official source confirming it, and because that Disney/Marvel/Feige hasn't given out any official statements about Groot, Thor or Gamora yet, we cannot add it to the wikia.
Personally, if it was up to me, I would, but that kind of leniency isn't allowed here.
I have obviously been inactive for quite some time, which is in no way of me not being as much as a fan of the MCU as I am now. I have asked this question to Shabook since he has locked the page, but seems to be inactive at the moment and might not get back to me. I just wanted to ask about the actors pages regarding trivia. I noticed the articles regarding Zach Barack while searching up Far From Home, and I thought it was interesting and it wasn’t mentioned here. Since there are trivia for other actors, even minor things like an actor shares a similar birthday, I don’t understand how that information I added is unnecessary and was removed. Would be nice to understand this. Hopefully I can get back to being part of this site once again more frequently.
The argument is to figure out the name for the unnamed air-based Elemental in Spider-Man: Far From Home. It is never seen, or given an official name, other than "Air Elemental" and "Air" (I for one would know this, because I've watched the movie). Our proposal (myself and TheRadion) was, in accordance with the Naming Policy, to name the article "Air Elemental", since it is conjecture and it is given no other name, because the Air Elemental is never credited with a name, such as Whirlwind, Cyclone or Zephyr.
The opposing side of the argument (made up currently as of right now, TreeForceLightningTurbo) is to rename the article to Cyclone, in homage to the comic counterpart; while this would make sense as it would be in tandem with the rest of the Elemental articles, doing this would actually be illogical, since - like I said earlier - that name was never given to the Air Elemental in the movie or in promotional material.
I'm just suggesting, but it's possible that the Elemental Air is based on Cyclone because the other 3 Elementals are based on Spidey's enemies and as New Rockstars demonstrates at 19:14: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zol8FYHDX9c
In addition to a reference to Molten- Man, the Plate TASM 143 is an illusion to a comic book where Spidey confronts Cyclone, demonstrating that it served as inspiration for the creation of Air Elemental on the part of production.
God are we still going on about this, it was only called air by mysterio when he was explaining how they formed in black holes, heck the air elemental wasn't even shown it was mentioned to have attacked Morocco and the one in London was th elemental fusion
Here I like to report the user HYDRA Agent who keeps undoing edits on characters such as Michelle Jones links and the Elementals' trivia. The user keeps getting into editing wars with other users such as TreeForceLightningTurbo and Marvelus which have warned him many times.
Please, imagine for a moment that you are someone who knows nothing about the Marvel comics nor about the MCU. And then one day you decide to read our article on Sandman. And then you get to the Trivia section, and start reading this:"In the comics, William Baker, also known as Flint Marko, is a criminal..." Wouldn't your first reaction be "Who is William Baker?" or "Who is Flint Marko" The MCU Sandman is not William Baker/Flint Marko. Don't you think it would be more informative to immediatelly point the difference between the two versions of the characters. That's the only reason why I'm putting "In the comics, Sandman is William Baker...". I'm not here to cause trouble. I'm here to help.
I don’t disagree that the MCU and the comic characters are different. But your not listening to me, the in the comic is to tell the user about the comic so you can go and read the comic the see the different. I not arguing no more and I hope you agree.
