  • Hi, while I know when it ends, our other friends haven't and won't until Friday night, where we will all talk about it spoiler-ish. However, I wanted to tell you my thoughts.

    Yes, Endgame ends in 2023, so Far From Home will pick up in Summer 2023 after all, then we have Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S6 premiere, or we are in a world post-Snap and pre-Endgame or they have an edited episode where they actually say "It's been 5 years since they were looking for Fitz in space". As to Jessica Jones S3, it cannot be set in October 2018, or it might do, however, if they do not want to explore the Snap, they will set themselves in October 2023.

    • Sorry, yeah it's a bit confusing but it can work. AoS writers are generally consistent with the timeline even more than movie writers in some cases

    • Actually this is a genious idea, Marvel has messed up the timeline before, now with a fresh start point establishing 2023 as the main continuity beginning, they can now oversee it and work it out nicely without making stupid mistakes.

  • Hi Assassin1and2,

    Just thought I'd make sure you know about the fact that your message was the last message in Timeline Discussion - Part 10. I tried to give a warning but I'm not sure if you saw it. The thread is continued here, if you're not aware, including a response to your message.

  • Heya Assassin!

    I recently made an edit to the page for Matthew Ellis that you removed for "speculation", and I was hoping that we could talk about why.

    None of the information I wrote in my edit was speculative. I used the dates for events firmly established by this Wiki, particularly by user BEJT (winter 2012-2013 for Iron Man 3, 2017 for AoS Season 4) along with law established by the 22nd Amendment to the United States constitution to determine my information. The US holds elections every four years, and as I outlined in my edit, a sitting President could not have been in command from December 2012 to anytime in 2017, as that would place them over the 2-term limit established in the United States Constitution.

    The only assumption that I made was that the United States Presidential election system has remained unchanged in the world of the MCU, but as with the timelines from which I drew my information, I was merely following the practice on this Wiki of assuming relevant pop culture and major world events/institutions to be the same between our world and the MCU unless shown otherwise.

    All I'm asking is that you have a discussion with me about this instead of attempting to outright dismiss my edit as speculation. Hope to hear from you soon!

    • None of those things, neither the dates nor the laws, have any oficial source from Marvel. And therefore, especially the laws, applying them thinking they have to be the same on Earth-199999 than they are on our Earth-1218 is speculation.

    • Yeah pretty much what Shabook said. Also the president in AoS Season 4 has never been referred as President Ellis but only as "The President", they have left it open enough that if movies introduced a new president it wouldn't mess with continuity. Season 4 references of "The President" are in Ellis' page only because nothing points towards a new president being elected, again they left it open enough that it can be either way. Latest appearance of Ellis was in 2016 so it checks out.

    • Ahhh, okay, Season 4 of AoS not mentioning him by name is my bad. I thought it did. I may just add it as a "Behind the Scenes" section then, though I'll clear that with Shabook too. Sorry for the mixup!

  • As you're posting some of the promo pics for AoS, I thought I'd direct you to this site which posts all of those pics, including some which are harder to find anywhere else. Check back after an episode airs and they usually have more "spoilery" pics, they have some new ones from the last episode for example.

    Just thought you might find it useful.

  • The official press release of the next episode of AoS (on April 4) is titled "What If..."

    You-Know-Who could have been holding a script for a future episode (Identity and Change).

  • Might I ask, where did you get the synopsis and cast listing?

  • Every quote needs to have a source. Therefore, instead of looking like this:

    {{Quote|We've put our faith in a robot who says she hears ghosts.|[[Melinda May]]}}

    the quote needs to look like this:

    {{Quote|We've put our faith in a robot who says she hears ghosts.|[[Melinda May]]|Deals With Our Devils}}

    Remember that from now on.
