Hector Lennox is killed by the vapor bomb
Sharon Carter traveled to New York City to help Captain America and Winter Soldier defeat the Flag Smashers. Using the Mercury Vapor Bomb during the conflict, Carter pretended to accidentally bump into Hector Lennox, one of the members of the Flag Smashers, and was successfully able to plant the grenade on him, brutally killing him as he entered an NYPD vehicle to drive away.[1]
