Melissa Bowen is the mother of Tandy Bowen.
Biography[]
Melissa Bowen was married to Nathan Bowen, although it was not a healthy relationship. However, a car crash caused them to work on their relationship and develop a healthier connection.[1]
Bowen attended a party to celebrate Tyrone Johnson becoming a police officer.[2] She watched her daughter, Tandy Bowen, deliver a toast and partook in the celebrations. Melissa's husband, Nathan, approached Tandy and asked her for tickets her next ballet performance, and Tandy and Bowen made fun of him for calling it a "recital."
Nathan and Bowen heard Adina Johnson playing the piano and singing, so they went to watch. Bowen asked Nathan to dance with her, although Nathan refused. So, she danced with Duane Porter. Nathan noticed a piece of confetti in Bowen's hair, so he went to remove it, when Tandy suddenly shouted for Nathan not to hurt Bowen. Bowen expressed confusion, and Nathan explained what happened.
Tandy later returned to the house after being sent to two alternate lives by Andre Deschaine, demanding to know where Deschaine was. Bowen grabbed her daughter and asked why she was making a scene. Tandy insisted that the world was not real, and Bowen told her not to ruin Tyrone Johnson's big day.[1]
