Mehta is a HYDRA scientist working for the Centipede Project to research the GH.325 drug.
Biography[]
Mehta was assigned by John Garrett to analyze the corpses of people who had previously undergone experiments with the GH.325 drug. While waiting for a hacker to decrypt a hard drive that contained the bloodwork of both Phil Coulson and Skye, from which HYDRA could directly re-synthesize the drug, Mehta met with Raina as she was performing an autopsy. As Mehta dissected the body, Raina noticed a black fluid within the body and asked about it, to which Mehta responded that it was the patient's liver. Mehta continued to work on the body as the hacker entered the room and informed Raina that only one person could open the hard drive.[1]
