The Rand Wannabe[]
Megan worked as a personal assistant to Ward and Joy Meachum at Rand Enterprises. One day, what looked like a homeless man walked in noting how the "old assistant" was gone. He claimed he was Danny Rand and asked to see Harold Meachum. Megan told him she will get him. However, Harold was dead, so she called security instead. The man fought the guards and was able to break in.[1]
Helping Joy Meachum[]
Megan was later called in by Joy Meachum who wanted to do research on the Rand wannabee. A few hours later, Megan brought Colleen Wing into Joy's office.[2]
Rand's Integration[]
After it was confirmed that the man was truly Danny Rand, he was let into the company. After his introduction press conference, Megan notified him about his first meeting which was with Jeri Hogarth. Afterwards, Ward asked Megan to tell a reporter, Jennifer Many, that he will answer all of her questions.[3]
Rand's Assistant[]

She was later assigned to be Danny Rand's assistant when he took his place at the company. He asked her what she does and even left a paper crane.[4] A few days later, she was tasked with finding warehouses where the Hand could be. She found two more. Rand told her to call him "Danny." Ward Meachum later yelled for her asking where his garbage was. She replied saying that maintenance came by early to pick it up.[5]
Later, Rand came in all dirty. Megan helped him get a new shirt and tie before his meeting. She then showed him all she could dig up: the company card for Wendell Rand. Rand asked her if it was a good business. They talked about the power plant and Megan said that he mother lives on Staten Island, meaning she could get cancer. Rand told her he needed to make a call.[6] Many days later, Megan went to work and found Harold Meachum greeting her. She shockingly looked at him and then his photo since he was dead.[7]
