Synopsis[]
Meet Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing in this docu-style series! Find out more about the fascinating lives of Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm. Individually, they each have AWESOME powers; but when they come together, that's when they become the FANTASTIC FOUR.[1]
Plot[]
The Fantastic Four fly through space, but are hit by Cosmic Radiation and gain superpowers and become superheroes. They film one of their Sunday dinners in order to show the public what life is like in the Baxter Building. Johnny Storm greets the documentary crew as though he is the sole interviewee. Ben Grimm and Sue Storm also greet the crew while Reed Richards sets the table with help from H.E.R.B.I.E. They prepare to eat dinner together, but New York City is suddenly attacked, causing them to have to miss dinner and the interview.
The next week, Richards is interviewed regarding his stretching abilities, but shifts the focus to his science. Johnny agrees that he spends a lot of time in a lab, and Grimm talks about Richards' consistent thinking about how to use the team's powers for good. Richards creates Dress Shoes that Grimm is capable of wearing and hair gel that Johnny can wear without catching fire, and an Unstable Molecule Necklace for Sue. The team try to sit down for dinner again, but there's another attack, forcing the Fantastic Four to leave their dinner again.

The series contains many similarities to the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the character designs as well as the character's backstory. It was also released right before the premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, acting as a promotional series for the film. The team invites documentary crews inside the Baxter Building for the first time. With the inclusion of Franklin Richards, it is confirmed to take place after the events of the film despite their personal lives being quite well known at that time. Additionally, Mole Man attacks New York City with Giganto. The film and comic show that Mole Man and Giganto attacked right after the family got their powers, with the event acting as the team's first bout ever. After this attack, Mole Man ends up becoming an ally of the team and friend of Sue Storm. With him being depicted in his villainous ways with the same plot as his origin, that is an unexplainable contradiction and therefore forces the series to be deemed non-canon.
