Maybelle "May" Parker (née Reilly) is the aunt of Peter Parker and the widow of Ben Parker.

May Parker married Ben Parker, who always seemed to help her. Following the death of her sister-in-law, Mary, and the imprisonment of her brother-in-law, Richard, Peter Parker, their nephew, moved in with them, prompting May and Ben to begin raising him. However, Ben was soon hospitalized. May and Peter spent a lot of time in the hospital with him until his eventual passing. [2][3][4][5]

Destruction of Midtown High School[]
While waiting outside Midtown High School with Peter Parker and the other students after a mysterious event, Peter suddenly collapsed. He checked on him and held him as a paramedic checked on him. He couldn't find anything worrying but recommended he go to doctor. May wanted him to go but Peter insisted against it due to the insurance copay, despite May's protests. That's when the school exploded causing May to declare they were going home. She then called work explaining that she'll come in as soon as she can but she can't on time due to the current situation.[2]
Trip to Delmar's Deli-Grocery[]
After leaving the school the Parkers stopped by Delmar's Deli-Grocery on their way home. May Parker brought nine frozen dinners to the counter and asked Peter if this was enough as he pet Delmar's cat Murph. He said it was enough and May commented on his snarkiness before an employee accidently knocked over a stack of boxes towards Peter. Peter dodged out of the way with the cat. May panicked and ran over to him. May asked if he was okay. Peter said he was and said that this was a day he should just stay inside. May agreed as they left the store.[2]
Dinner with Peter's Friend[]
After they had returned, the two talked on the couch. May asked what they should have for dinner, Peter thought they should just have a frozen dinner but May insisted that she should make a home made meal. Just then, they heard the doorbell and Peter opened the door, finding Peter's friend, Nico Minoru and her foster mother, Susan O'Hara. She had a brought a homemade meal and May said she didn't have to do this however, O'hara said she knew she'd say that and that's why she didn't call ahead. She decides to accept the meal and have them stay for dinner. After dinner, O'hara helped May clean up despites' May protests. O'hara thought that talking to her helped her with processing the Midtown situation.[2]

Days later, Pater brought home several flammable items, saying they were for studying for home ec class, as it was his weakest subject. May said that was a good idea before leaving for work. A couple days later, May apologized to Peter for the late night shifts she had to take recently. Parker said it was fine due to the amount of makeup work he had to do for his new school so he would not make good company.[6] to be added[7]
