Escape from Sokovian Prison[]

During a mission with the United States Army in Sokovia, Mary Walker was captured by the Sokovian Armed Forces. In prison Walker's team were killed, while Walker had been beaten and raped. Eventually, the Sokovians decided to execute Walker, only for her to break free from her cell, arming herself with twin machetes, and proceeded to slaughter the Sokovians, before being rescued. The ordeal was so traumatising for Walker that she developed Dissociative Identity Disorder, with her Walker persona choosing machetes as her main weapon.[1]
Threatening Davos[]

While Walker had been doing her work inside her Apartment, she was confronted by Joy Meachum and Davos, who had discovered that their investigation had been leaked to Danny Rand and Colleen Wing. As Meachum and Davos were demanding answers, Walker became angered by Davos' threats, as she drew her twin machetes and held them to Davos' throat. While Meachum attempted to calm the situation, Davos continued demanded answers, making it clear he was unthreatened, until Walker lowered the machetes.[2]

While Joy Meachum and Walker discussed dealing with Davos, they were interrupted by Misty Knight and Colleen Wing's arrival. Despite trying to stay hidden, Walker was eventually discovered by the pair, leading to a fight, in which Walker swiftly subdued Knight, before throwing Wing down to the floor. As she left, Walker took her money and one of her machetes, which she held to Wing's throat.

However, just as Walker began furiously slashing the machete at Wing, who managed to dodge the strike and grab Walker's wrist to prevent her from attacking her again, Knight had then returned to the fight and held her gun at Walker. Knight told Walker that she could either drop the blade, or be shot and killed. Following a tense standoff, Walker reluctantly placed her machete onto the ground and kicked it away from herself, with Wing picking up the blade while Knight put Walker into handcuffs, intending to question Walker and Meachum about the situation.[3]

During Walker's attempt to assassinate Davos, she had been interrupted by the return of Danny Rand and Colleen Wing, who needed Davos alive. While Davos and Wing began to fight, Rand cornered Walker and knocked the gun out from her hands. With Rand armed with Wing's Katana, Walker then drew her twin machetes and challenged him to a duel, mocking his skills with the katana. During their fight, Rand blocked many of Walker's blows, with the katana still in its sheath.
Walker breaks Misty Knight's Prosthetic Arm
Eventually, Rand managed to knock one machete out of Walker's hands, before she kicked out his damaged leg and attempted to kill Davos again, only for Misty Knight to hit Walker in the face. Enraged by Knight getting in her way, Walker furiously slashed her machete at Knight's Prosthetic Arm, imbedding it in the metal and attempting to break it off. However, Rand managed to end the fight by cutting a water pipe, before pinning Walker's machete's wielding arm and using a flashing like to force Walker to transition back into her Mary persona.[1]
