Discussions Moderators, also known as Thread Moderators, are users with tools enabling them to delete social posts and comments on the Discussions Area and Message Walls in accordance to the Wiki Community Rules.

Abilities

Users who are apart of the Discussions Area can read and reply to posts as well as make their own. Discussions moderators (also known as thread moderators) are entrusted with various abilities to keep the discussions area and safe and operated place. These abilities include:

• Locking posts.
• Deleting and Undeleting Posts.
• Hiding deleted content.
• View and handle reported content.
• Edit posts and replies.

Pathway to Moderation

To become a discussions moderator, you must be promoted by someone with bureaucrat rights. The Pathway to Moderation policy allows for users to be promoted to discussions moderator provided they are eligible. Factors include their experience on the site and a demonstrated ability to be respectful within the community.
