- That doesn't capture the scope of the plot. It wasn't just the Avengers, it was every superhero on Earth. People could also think that the Avengers were the invaders. - GarrettPlayzRBLX | Message Wall • Contributions 17:51, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- Neither does the suggestion about Veranke specifically impersonating Spider-Woman. The scope of the plot is that they are taking all superheroes. -Jessica3801 (talk) 18:37, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

Iron Man 3 - The Official Game and Thor: The Dark World - The Official Game Java ME Version[]
Identification[]
- The following discussion is an archived discussion. Please do not modify it.
- Identified {{{sig}}}
Iron Man has to fight the Mandarin but also goes on a mystery of his own to uncover the Mandarin's secrets. Stark notably has self-healing armor as well as "Repair Bots" that repair items that Stark has damaged. He has to go to Tennessee to get off the grid and uses equipment there to fix his armor after the self-healing mechanism runs out. Stark labels these missions as "cyber-mysteries" and it is later revealed that the Extremis soldiers (which Stark calls Mutant Army Program) are victims who were injected with the "cyber-virus" known as Extremis. Additionally, Edward Savin was fired from A.I.M. for stealing intel from them. He gained access to Extremis and used it on himself. Mandarin also used many missiles against Stark.
In The Dark World, the Dark Elves align themselves with the Mauraders (including the Kronan Mauraders) and the Frost Giants to take over Asgard by stealing their Uru weapons such as Gungir and using it to take over the world. Malekith eventually absorbs the uru energy and becomes a monster-like being. - Raff • Message Wall • Contributions 02:25, 20 November 2024 (UTC)

- Cyber-Virus Dark Elf Alliance. Snags both identifiers. • MJLogan95 | Message Wall • Contributions 13:03, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Dark Elf Alliance happens in the Java Thor game as well as the main version of TTDW game, so Extremis Cyber-Virus is the best option in my opinion. - Raff • Message Wall • Contributions 21:17, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Right, but I said Cyber-Virus Dark Elf Alliance, not just "Dark Elf Alliance". Does the Cyber-Virus occur in the Java Thor game or the main version of TTDW? The point of Cyber-Virus Dark Elf Alliance was to create a universe name that addresses both games. Having "Malekith/Cyber-Virus Extremis" when his actions do not revolve around that event is iffy to me. Hence the suggestion of pairing the two. • MJLogan95 | Message Wall • Contributions 05:37, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- That makes the two seem connected though. Personally I'm okay with just having one be the main thing identifying them, even if it only applies to one of the names, and I think Cyber-Virus Extremis is the plainest one. -Jessica3801 (talk) 16:43, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

- While that is something that happens in one of the games, I don't really see it as a key difference between the two. I think the clearest ones to name something based on would be either the Homecoming, Eternals, and Civil War ones. Maybe Global Crossbones Attacks? -Jessica3801 (talk) 18:38, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- My thinking was that speaking broadly, giant city destroying robots would be a bigger deal in that universe than Crossbones. - Raff • Message Wall • Contributions 02:26, 20 November 2024 (UTC)
- While true, it's not really a difference that makes that universe unique. -Jessica3801 (talk) 19:17, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

- Definitely not City Destroying Tall Robots. Ideally, we'd want a name that can apply to at least 2/3. Global Catastrophic Response? Sort of gets the Eternals too, somewhat... • MJLogan95 | Message Wall • Contributions 13:03, 22 November 2024 (UTC)
- Something that isn't noted here but also was forgotten is that The Battle for the Avengers Tower 360° Experience is also apart of this universe and this designation encompasses that too. Although I don't know about the "tall" part because it is a reference to Tall Robots but if used as an adjective, it works. - Raff • Message Wall • Contributions 21:11, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- The reason it's not in the description is that it's not a major difference. The games included are The Battle for the Avengers Tower, Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Eternals. The ones in the identification are the main differences, which is what we name universes based on. Personally I think choosing one major one is fine (Avengers-Skrull Empire Confrontation Universe for example doesn't need to change just because we learned about more games from that universe), hence my suggestion of Global Crossbones Attacks. -Jessica3801 (talk) 21:40, 23 November 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think I weighed in on that, and if I did, I was unaware it was applied to multiple projects. Personally, I'd prefer a hybridization of key differentiatives to address the major projects. Having "Sprite/Global Crossbones Attacks" is weird to me, and thus, while I like "Global Crossbones Attacks", personally I can't vote support for it in this case. • MJLogan95 | Message Wall • Contributions 04:26, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- While I understand that, I do think that it is unavoidable. There isn't a single thing unifying all these games' stories, especially one that makes it unique to this universe. We would have to do something that is the biggest difference between one of these games and the universe. When talking about combining multiple games into one universe, this is unavoidable unfortunately. -Jessica3801 (talk) 21:15, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- All right. I still think Global Catastrophic Response could work, but dropping the stance of "single thing unifying all games", then I'd say Global Crossbones Attacks is the superior name of the suggestions given thus far. • MJLogan95 | Message Wall • Contributions 19:23, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

- Not really. In the main universe, the only thing J.A.R.V.I.S. did is tell Tony that he wouldn't be able to save everyone. In this game, J.A.R.V.I.S. provides more helpful information: how long until the fall, how many people he would have to save before Special Forces arrive.
