Joining the Ravagers[]

In his years of youth, Martinex was a part of a group of Ravagers led by Stakar Ogord, and participated in many adventures and fought all across the galaxy. Eventually, after Yondu Udonta's exile from the Ravagers, the team disbanded and Martinex stayed as Ogord's first mate. He didn't see his other teammates again for many years.[1]
Reunion with Yondu[]

Martinex was along with Stakar Ogord and their clan of Ravagers on the Iron Lotus to relax, listening to Ogord tell stories. They were approached by Yondu Udonta, causing Ogord to become outraged and he led his clan to leave. Martinex remained silent and watched as Ogord and Udonta got into an argument over Udonta's exile. When Ogord walked away from Udonta, Martinex took a moment to share a look with his former teammate before following Ogord as they departed the planet.[1]
Yondu Udonta's Funeral[]

Martinex and the other Ravagers were present during Yondu Udonta's funeral, where their ships saluted the dead Ravager. Afterwards, he reunited with the team and decided to go on heists together.[1]
United Ravagers[]
By 2026 all of the Ravager factions had come together to become the United Ravagers. The Ravagers were hired on a job to help infiltrate Orgoscope. When an unknown ship arrived, the Ravagers boarded it, intending to steal from it. However, it turned out to be the Guardians of the Galaxy, who had contacted Gamora and asked for their help. Gamora joined the Guardians on their mission, and when they were done, Martinex went with Mainframe to pick her up from Knowhere.[2]

- Pluvian Physiology: Martinex's body structure is composed of silicon-isotope crystals instead of carbon matter. Despite their superhuman durability, they take longer to heal.
