Martin was a mercenary who tried to capture Amy Bendix in order to claim the bounty on her head; however, just as Martin cornered Bendix, he was disarmed and mortally wounded by his target, as the Punisher arrived and finished Martin off.

MartinsCrewSearchForBendix — Martin orders Shantel to find Amy Bendix

When word got out that Aryan Brotherhood was setting out a high reward of for anybody who could track down Amy Bendix and the Punisher, Martin with Davis got two other mercenaries to track down Bendix and the Punisher. Martin and his mercenaries got into Crescent St. and searched the place in hopes of finding Bendix. Martin and two mercenaries went up the stairs while Davis stayed on the first floor. Martin and one of the men with him were alerted when they hear gunshots and assume it was the Punisher, one mercenary went to investigate while Martin went to find Bendix.

Martin started to investigate these rooms in order to find Bendix and found the door of the utility closet where she was currently hiding. Martin then threatened to shoot straight through the door and kill her if she did not open the door and surrender, causing Bendix to finally open the door, while pleading to Martin not to kill her and instead just let her walk away. However, Martin then heard more gunshots and the screams of his mercenaries, Martin had threatened the Punisher that he would kill Bendix. While Martin was distracted, Bendix managed to disarm Martin and took his Desert Eagle right out of his hands.

Despite being at a sudden disadvantage, Martin had still remained confident as he did not believe that Bendix would actually have the strength to shoot him, but he was then immediately proven wrong when Bendix shot him in the chest, mortally wounding him as he fell to the floor in agony. Martin yelled out in pain as the Punisher came over to Bendix, with the Punisher ignoring Martin as he continued to moan and spit out blood. Bendix told the Punisher that she shot and killed Martin, only for the Punisher to then finish Martin off, killing him with his gun and insisting that he was the one who killed Martin.^[1]

Desert Eagle Mark XIX: Martin used this handgun when he went to capture Amy Bendix at Shantel's apartment building alongside a group of mercenaries, as she had betrayed Bendix for the 5 million dollars bounty that had been placed on her. He managed to locate Bendix, but he was also aware that Frank Castle had arrived to the building and killed the other mercenaries. Martin kept Bendix at gunpoint while telling Castle to stay away. Bendix seized the opportunity to disarm Martin the way Castle taught her, and took the gun from him, shooting him in the chest. Bendix started to panic realizing she had just killed a man, but Castle, who rushed to her side, took the gun from her and shot Martin again to be the one who actually killed him and calm Bendix down.
