• Mark Hamill has expressed interest in a Marvel Cinematic Universe role. He had hoped to portray Adrian Toomes/Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but the role was given to Michael Keaton instead. James Gunn also said in 2018 that he was planning to discuss a potential role for Hamill in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 due to living near each other in Malibu back then, though Hamill wasn't featured at all in the finished film.
• Upon the release of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, several Marvel Cinematic Universe fans believed Mark Hamill to have been the performer of Drunk Knowherian. However, Mark's son Nathan confirmed on Twitter that his father hadn't appeared in the television special, with a user named Cynn Smith confirming the following day that the character's actual performer was her friend Troy Beecham.
