Hillson listens to Matt Murdock's statement
In 2025, Benjamin Poindexter attacked Josie's Bar in Hell's Kitchen, where he killed eleven individuals, including Foggy Nelson, and injured others. He was then apprehended and given a trial, which Hillson presided over. In 2026, during his trial's sentencing hearing, Hillson listened as Nelson's friend Matt Murdock gave a statement, claiming that true justice could not be dispensed due to the lives lost and that in the absence of justice, punishment should be rendered onto Poindexter to the fullest extent that the law allowed. Hillson then thanked Murdock for his statement and then asked Poindexter if he had any final words to say. When Poindexter merely remarked that he had none, Hillson stated that she was not surprised as he showed no remorse or guilt for his actions. She then sentenced him to eleven life sentences to be served consecutively without the possibility of parole.[1]
