Reunion with Carol Danvers

"And now you come up in here after six years, with your supercharged fire-hands, and you expect me to call you, I don't even know what, Vers?"
―Maria Rambeau to Carol Danvers[src]

Long after crash-landing into a Blockbuster back on Earth, Carol Danvers and her new friend, Nick Fury and Goose, went to Rambeau for help. As she had been one of the last ones to see her and Dr. Wendy Lawson alive. Arriving at the Rambeau Residence, Vers' presence surprised her friend. However, her daughter instantly went over and hugged her as she knew she was still alive after all those years. Vers explained to Maria and Monica that she had been kidnapped by Yon-Rogg and brainwashed into fighting for the Kree Empire. After having a long talk Maria still did not know what to believe, Carol then demonstrated her powers by heating up a tea kettle.[1]

Arrival of the Skrulls

"Young lady, I have a special skill that kinda allows me to get into places I'm not supposed to be in."
"Call me 'young lady' again, I'm gonna put my foot in a place it's not supposed to be!"
Talos and Maria Rambeau[src]

Vers and Fury found out that Talos successfully tracked them down but was there not to fight but to talk. After a tense moment they decided to give him a chance. Vers listened to a black box that he had taken from S.H.I.E.L.D.,She then recovered her memory of the crash and how she got her cosmic powers. Lost and confused more then ever about her identity now that she realized that she had been lied to by the Kree for years. Maria saw the whole thing and comforted her, calming her down. Danvers then decided to make things right with the Skrulls by helping them find Lawson's old lab.[1]

Battle at Mar-Vell's Laboratory

Carol Danvers, Talos, Nick Fury, Rambeau, and Goose arrived at the base where they found more Skrulls in the laboratory as well as the Infinity Stone known as the Tesseract. However, they were soon ambushed and captured by Starforce. Rambeau stuck with Fury and Carol caught up with them and decided to buy them time to escape from the laboratory.

Returning to the Rambeau Residence to celebrate their victory over the Kree, Maria enjoyed dinner with her friends. Carol then decided she would go help the Skrulls find a new home far away from the Kree, and she said good bye to everybody on Earth, bidding Maria and Monica a farewell.[1]
