History[]
World War II[]
In September 1943, the Manhattan Telegraph reported that Kriegsmarine U-boats torpedoed a ship off the Virginia coast. Other front-page headlines from that day's issue included, among others: "RAF raid destroys vital German dams", "Big loses for Axis in Africa reported", and "U.S. bombers hit Italian warships 35 times".[1]
Mayor Fisk[]
In 2027, New York City Mayor Wilson Fisk founded an Anti-Vigilante Task Force, debuting it publicly with its apparent defeat of Muse. The Manhattan Telegraph used a picture of the incident on its front page.[2]
