Magoth was a demon who assisted Kthara in reuniting her family and returning to power.
Biography[]
Helping Kthara[]
Possessing Alex Tilden[]
Alex Tilden was marked for possession by Basar[6] and found his way to the side of a road, where he collapsed. Magoth possessed Tilden while a man named Kevin tried to help Tilden. While fighting for control, Tilden asked Kevin to be taken to the hospital, and Kevin agreed. While driving to the hospital, Magoth finished taking over Tilden's body and caused a car accident, killing Kevin and causing Tilden to become severely injured, although Magoth did not feel the pain.
Father Sean Okamoto arrived to deliver Tilden his last rites, which he managed to ask for while fighting with Magoth for control. However, Magoth bit Okamoto and launched a car window at him, so Okamoto called Gabriella Rosetti for help. She and Daimon Helstrom investigated "Tilden," and Magoth scared Rosetti by launching Kevin's corpse towards her, laughing about it to Helstrom. Rosetti shined her flashlight on him and asked whether he was responsible for the crash, which he said he was and that he killed because it felt good. He demanded that Rosetti get the light out of his eyes and used his abilities to try to kill the pair with part of a truck, although Helstrom used his own demonic abilities to deflect it.
Magoth taunted Rosetti, and Helstrom told him to shut up, although Magoth revealed that he knew Helstrom. He explained that all of the demons knew Helstrom as a traitor and told the pair his name. Rosetti, having come to the conclusion that Magoth was once human, asked him to give Tilden a chance to say goodbye to his family. Magoth pretended the ploy had worked before again laughing and revealing Tilden's past of sleeping with prostitutes, threatening to tell his wife. He also told Helstrom that his sister, Ana Helstrom, has been murdering people throughout her life.
Rosetti attempted to use prayer to allow Tilden to have enough strength to resume control of his body, and it began woking since Tilden was a man of faith. Magoth tried to demand that Rosetti stop, and Helstrom grabbed Magoth's mark. Magoth used his telekinesis to move a stick of dynamite and light a ring of fuel on fire, distracting the two. While Helstrom cleared a path in the fire, Rosetti continued to pray for Tilden, showing a picture of his family. It momentarily worked as Tilden broke through, but Magoth quickly resumed control and became more powerful. Helstrom prepared to exorcise Tilden, and Magoth warned him about the demon who marked him, saying that he was growing stronger. Helstrom then managed to successfully use his powers to exorcise the demon from Tilden's body, forcing him to possess somebody else.[1]
Possessing Bryce[]
Magoth proceeded to possess Bryce, whom Basar had killed. Magoth told Bryce that Daimon Helstrom had been warned and knew they were coming. Basar asked Bryce to bring Gabriella Rosetti to him. Magoth followed Rosetti while she, Helstrom, and Ana Helstrom visited the Richards Residence, intending to talk to Zoe Richards. After the three left, he spoke to Aubree Richards and her sister, offering a chance for revenge against Ana, which they accepted.[2]
Magoth then visited Daimon Helstrom's house, and ate some of the donuts that had been left out. When Helstrom returned to his house, Magoth offered him a deal, saving Victoria Helstrom's life in exchange for Ana Helstrom. Daimon Helstrom refused to accept the deal and attacked Magoth, and the two fought using their telekinetic abilities. Magoth managed to gain the upper hand, pushing a bookcase on top of Helstrom and jumping on top of it. However, Ana Helstrom arrived and pushed Magoth off the bookcase, fighting him. While Ana restrained Magoth, Daimon managed to exorcise him, saving Bryce.[7]
Escape from Saint Teresa Center for Mental Health[]
Magoth possessed Dr. Edgar Lawrence in the middle of Basar's plan to free Kthara from Saint Teresa Center for Mental Health. He went to Louise Hastings' office and found Hastings, Ana Helstrom, and Victoria Helstrom. He stole the Keeper's Skull from them and ran off, while the hospital's patients were all freed. He sat with the skull, planning to break it, until Chris Yen appeared with an axe and killed his host.[3]
Possessing Finn Miller[]
After some time, Magoth possessed Finn Miller, and found himself in a cage at a Blood facility, being taunted by Ahmad, who believed him to be Kthara, saying that he would die once the knife he had been carving could be doused in the blood of a Keeper Demon. Magoth used the knife to stab one of the Blood members and broke out of the cage while Ahmad fled. He took the knife out of the body, and told Ahmad that he had Kthara's name wrong. He then used the dagger to kill Ahmad.
He went to Portland Harbor and boarded the Garibaldi II, where he found Raum and Magoth, along with Basar's deceased host body. Kthara thanked Magoth for distracting Daimon and Ana Helstrom and assured him that she and her son could still possess new hosts, even though the Helstorm siblings took the person they wanted. She told Magoth to go to Daimon Helstrom's House while Raum set a trap. Magoth told Kthara that he would not let her down and left. He went to the house and put Basar's heart through the mail slot so that Rosetti could get possessed by Basar and Basar could possess Helstrom.[4]
Kidnapping of Gabriella Rosetti[]
Magoth helped Raum guard Kthara and Gabriella Rosetti once she had become pregnant with Kthara's new permanent form. Kthara cast an illusion of Daimon Helstrom to talk to Rosetti, but she soon figured out that it was not him. Raum and Magoth entered and tied Rosetti to the bed. As time passed in the room, Raum and Magoth continually replaced the dying flowers next to Rosetti's bed and gave her sedatives and other pills.
She escaped and he and Raum went after her, finding her at Daimon Helstorm's house. He entered through the front door and found Victoria Helstrom, who poured hot water on him, while Louise Hastings knocked him out.[8] He recovered and found Hastings and Helstrom, demanding to know where Rosetti had gone. Suddenly, Caretaker arrived and stabbed him with a dagger capable of killing demons. This upset Magoth, who attempted to kill Caretaker with a fire poker. However, Hastings took the hit instead, and Raum and Magoth fled to look for Rosetti.
They reunited with Basar, who demanded to know where Rosetti and Kthara were. He began choking Raum due to their failure, although Magoth explained that since his host was a member of the Blood, he would be able to use those contacts to find her. They tracked her down to a church and prepared for battle with the Blood, when Rosetti stopped them and agreed to go with the demons. Magoth walked back into Rosetti's room with Rosetti and the other demons.
As Rosetti was placed in the tub, she and Basar argued some more before Rosetti began experiencing contractions, and Basar told Magoth and Raum that it was time. While Rosetti struggled, the demons sensed that Ana Helstrom and Chris Yen had arrived, so Basar left to handle them. As Rosetti continued to struggle, Magoth leaned in front of Rosetti and told her to breathe. Rosetti finally gave birth to a young girl, and Magoth cut the umbilical cord, declaring the child to be a girl. He placed the child in a crib and confirmed for Raum that she was born in blood. Magoth said that she would be like the demons.
Daimon Helstrom then ran in and stopped Raum from killing Rosetti, killing him. Magoth attempted to flee with the child, but was stopped by Ana and Yen. Daimon then killed Magoth, freeing Finn Miller.[9]
