On her way back to the Cambridge from New York City, she got into traffic at the Alexander Hamilton Bridge. Suddenly, she was approached by Peter Parker who tried to convince her to reconsider the applications of Michelle Jones and Ned Leeds. Parker was desperate, since his vigilantism might hurt the future of his friends, although she took notice of the awkwardness in his words. However, both she and Parker noticed people running away from the bridge in panic, and as the chaos ensued, she tried to leave her car as well.

As Parker enagaged in a fight with Doctor Octopus, she failed to get out of the car as the door was blocked. Later, Doctor Octopus grabbed Parker and threw him in the car, tipping it over the edge with her still trapped inside. She called for help, as Parker rushed to get her to safety, although Doctor Octopus was still trying to strike him down. He eventually managed to catch the car with his webbing, asking her if she was okay, to which she responded negatively. Parker promised to her that he had the situation under his control, while Doctor Octopus was still attacking him.

Eventually, Parker managed to defeat Doctor Octopus and got her to safety, who was shocked but admitted that Parker was a hero. Ignoring all the negative press surrounding Parker, she promised to convince her employers to reconsider the admissions of Jones and Leeds, and Parker's as well, although he said that it was not necessary. She told Parker that if they keep quiet for a while, MIT will most likely accept them before confronting Doctor Octopus on his rampage on the bridge. Suddenly, Green Goblin appeared on the bridge and tried to attack Parker, as she witnessed both him and Doctor Octopus disappearing from the bridge. Shortly afterwards, she had her memories of Parker erased.^[1]
