Interrogating Leo Fitz
Lucas led an United States Air Force team with Evans to Rae's Restaurant in order to arrest S.H.I.E.L.D. agents after the assassination attempt on Glenn Talbot. They only found Leo Fitz and arrested him, taking him to the Blue Raven Ridge facility for interrogation. Despite Lucas' and Evans' insisting, Fitz kept claiming that he did not know where his friends were. Since the Lie Detector indicated that Fitz was telling the truth, Lucas suggested to let him help the military find the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Fitz made repeated attempts to explain how his friends vanished but to no avail. Angered, Lucas demanded answers, but all Fitz could come up to was abduction by aliens. He then saw the arrival of Lance Hunter, who was posing as Fitz's attorney.
- "We just lost half-an-hour of time."
- ―Lucas to Evans
When Leo Fitz and Lance Hunter escaped the facility, General Hale ordered Lucas and Evans to tail them and wait until they lead them to the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. They arrived into Enoch's house and discovered children drawings that seemed to predict the future. After that, they found the fugitive they were chasing, but Enoch used his Chronicom technology to escape. They reported their mission to General Hale, who ordered them to find Robin Hinton, who was with the fugitives.
Executed by Hale
After Leo Fitz and Lance Hunter successfully stole equipment, including the Zephyr One, from the Blue Raven Ridge facility, Hale summoned Evans and Lucas. They feared that they would be downgraded because of their failures, but Hale simply executed both of them in cold blood.
- Blue Raven Ridge: Lucas worked at the secret military facility of Blue Raven Ridge, where he detained and frequently interrogated Leo Fitz in order to determine S.H.I.E.L.D.'s whereabouts. Lucas was eventually executed by Hale in an interrogation room of Blue Raven Ridge for having failed to capture Fitz and Lance Hunter.
