Luca was a criminal and head of one of the Five Families. In 2027, in the aftermath of the Hijacking at Red Hook Pier, tensions escalated between the Five Families after Luca failed to pay his restitution to Viktor. Luca eventually planned to kill Wilson Fisk at Bamonte’s acting on tip from Vanessa Fisk only to be tricked by them and killed by Buck Cashman.

Meeting with Vanessa Fisk[]
Luca attends the Five Families meeting
Vanessa Fisk organized a meeting with the heads of the Five Families, which Luca, Devlin, Viktor, and Carlo attended. Luca told Viktor that if he crossed 39th Street, he would need to pay a toll. Viktor mockingly asked him if he was a bridge, but Luca stood his ground. Viktor fired back that Red Hook was an exception, and when Luca asked since when, Viktor told him since before Luca had started wearing a tracksuit.
Luca and the others notice Wilson Fisk
When one of the heads' bodyguards reached for his gun, Fisk diffused the situation, telling them to be content they were going to earn millions of dollars. Fisk affirmed Viktor about Red Hook before informing the heads of the return from that month's investment. As Fisk told Luca and the others to pay Fisk's share of their operations, Wilson Fisk arrived at the meeting, leading Luca and the others to leave.[1]

Luca conspired with Vanessa Fisk to kill Wilson Fisk, reestablishing Vanessa as the leader of the Five Families. Luca awaited in his car for Vanessa's signal, and he received a text message from her informing him that Wilson was eating alone at Bamonte's. Luca drove to the restaurant and entered quietly, approaching Wilson from behind. However, before he could do anything, Buck Cashman emerged and shot Luca in the head, killing him.[2]
