"Uh, excuse me. Hello, excuse me. I'm looking for the Lost Library of Cagliostro."
Doctor Strange to O'Bengh[src]

The Lost Library of Cagliostro was a library in which Cagliostro stored his books.

History[]

Ancient Past[]

Cagliostro built the library as his facility to store items of interest and eventually became the library's guardian. The tale of the library would be kept within the Masters of the Mystic Arts, though only a handful of sorcerers would know where it was.[1]

Quest for Power[]

Eventually, Doctor Strange would learn about the library, though he had no use for it. After many failed attempts to save Christine Palmer's life, Strange was confronted by the Ancient One and was reprimanded for his actions. Using the Eye of Agamotto amplified by the eldritch energy blast by the Ancient One, Strange traveled back in time and met O'Bengh, following him to the library.

Once Strange entered the library, he fell through a trap as O'Bengh made his introduction and welcomed Strange. Taking Strange deeper into the library, O'Bengh wondered about him as Strange began reading through the library's books, trying to find a way to enhance his powers. After some time, Strange began experimenting with magic from the Dark Dimension, summoning creatures and absorbing them into his being, gaining more power in the process. However, after Strange summoned the creature he'd seen before, he was knocked out.

O'Bengh tended to Strange and warned him of the dangers that love and the magic could create. However, Strange continued experimenting with magic, becoming stronger than ever before, though he did not have the power needed to resurrect Palmer.[1]

O'Bengh's Death[]

Weeks after training, Strange Supreme met with O'Bengh on his deathbed. Strange wanted to save O'Bengh using the Eye of Agamotto, but O'Bengh stopped him and told him that this was his choice. He explained that death would always come and told Strange that he had an alternate version of himself. Confused, Strange tried to comprehend what O'Bengh had said: Strange had been living half a life. As O'Bengh died, Strange tried to pull his alternate self to the library and continued to pursue his quest to resurrect Palmer.[1]

Trapping the Alternative[]

This section needs a rewrite

After Doctor Strange, with the help of Wong, prepared for battle, a portal opened underneath Strange's feet, pulling him into a trap conjured by his darker self. Strange Supreme explained to his alternate self that he needed him to help resurrect Palmer, trying to appeal to his inner emotions. Strange Supreme continued to persuade Strange into helping him, eventually influencing him and sending them back to moments after the crash using the Eye of Agamotto. Eventually, after Strange successfully undid an Absolute Point in time, the entire universe was destroyed, including the library.[1]
