Biography
When Skye tried to locate Phil Coulson by herself when he was kidnapped by the Centipede Project, she followed a trail on Vanchat's financials, and came across some information about the current investigation on Lloyd Rathman's offshore accounts.
The investigation, carried on by the Federal Government as an international crackdown on tax-dodging citizens and the wealth management executives that aid them, lead to a formal request for banking records from four of Switzerland's largest institutions in a effort to prove that Lloyd Rathman knowingly opened Swiss bank accounts in the names of corportate vehicles he created for American investors.
Seeing this as an opportunity to enter into restricted transaction records, Skye stole Rathman's car to break into his house, posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Melinda May to make Rathman help her hack into the bank accounts by using his private corporate I.D.
After seeing Skye disarm two private security agents, he cooperated as long as he could, but when it became apparent that he had no idea of how to navigate through the bank accounts, as his assistant does that for him, one of the security agents had to act under Skye's guidance to obtain the information.
When she obtained the information she needed, Skye also took one of Rathman's Lamborghinis before leaving.[1]
