Lilla Mackenzie and her husband, John Mackenzie, were captured and imprisoned in the Lighthouse by Chronicom Hunters, who were hoping to stop Alphonso Mackenzie, their son who had time-travelled to 1976, from destroying Project Insight. Lilla and John waited in their holding cell while Project Insight launched, although Alphonso destroyed in a way that would not harm is parents.

Lilla and John Mackenzie eventually had two sons, Alphonso and Ruben, who grew up with Lilla and John in their house.
