- Witchcraft: Having being alive for centuries, Calderu is a powerful and experienced witch. Although witchcraft usually manifest as a luminescent blue mist or vapor, Calderu's magic is yellow, possibly due to her specialization in divination.

- Divination: Calderu is a witch specialized in employing divination, a method of reading the future, the present and the past to provide help to a problem at hand. This is done by using an occultic, standardized process or ritual, such as tarot cards, crystall balls, and others.

- In the comics, Lilia Calderu is the leader of a coven tasked with keeping the Book of Cagliostro, being a descendant of Cagliostro himself. She was also a descendant of the first Baron Mordo, and became romantically involved with her half-uncle Karl Mordo. She fell in love with him and bore a daughter, Astrid, but he only pretended to be in love to steal the Book from her.
