The Legend of Icarus (Hindi: शानदार दास्तान-ए-इकरिस) is a movie starring Kingo as a fictionalized version of Ikaris. It features the song, Nach Mera Hero.
History[]
Kingo prepared a movie about his friend, Ikaris, using a fictionalized story created by Sprite as the inspiration. Kingo was set to play the lead, and the song Nach Mera Hero was written for the film. The band BTS was also set to perform for the film. The film began filming and continued in 2024, when Nach Mera Hero was filmed. Ikaris, Sersi, and Sprite watched the dance number be filmed and were approached by Karun Patel, who said that he was honored to meet them. As the number concluded, Kingo delivered notes to the cast, who reset. Kingo then greeted his friends, who told him that Ajak had died, upsetting Kingo. Patel cleared the studio so that Kingo and his friends could talk, and Kingo was hesitant to leave due to the filming of Legend of Ikaris. However, Patel inspired Kingo to go, so he left the production.[1]
Behind the Scenes[]
- When Kumail Nanjiani first met with Chloé Zhao, Zhao told Nanjiani that Eternals would involve Nanjiani doing a Bollywood dance number. Nanjiani asked to do something else, so Zhao said that they would do an action sequence instead. However, when Nanjiani arrived in London, Zhao revealed that she had lied and printed a lie in Nanjiani's script, and that they would in fact be doing the dance number. Nanjiani insisted on getting a dance teacher and trained with the choreographer for four months before filming the scene.[2]
- Nanjiani said that he got emotional when he began practicing with the full ensemble for the Legend of Icarus scenes as after not seeing much representation, he suddenly got to work with a large amount of South Asian people.[2]
