- "You said was..."
"Three months after Coach Lee started training Bastian, his body showed up on the estate. Cause of death was listed as unknown but there was never an investigation." - ―Wilson Fisk and Angie Kim[src]
Lee Suk Ji trained in Taekwondo and became a well-known coach and instructor, eventually having a son. The parents of Bastian Cooper soon hired him to teach Cooper martial arts, although Cooper detested the sport. Three months into Cooper's training, Lee was killed by Cooper as he could no longer put up with being forced to compete in Taekwondo.[1]
Legacy[]
- "And you think Bastian killed him."
"I'll put it this way. It wouldn't surprise me if he did." - ―Wilson Fisk and Angie Kim[src]
No investigation was launched to determine the cause of Lee's death, so Bastian Cooper was not prosecuted. His old student soon became Muse, a psychopathic serial killer who painted unwashable graffiti with his victims' blood. When NYPD Detective Angie Kim narrowed down Muse's secret identity to Cooper, she presented her evidence to Mayor Wilson Fisk, citing Lee's death and correctly theorizing that Cooper had killed him.[1]
