Leber is a German innkeeper in Berlin.
Biography[]
Leber was regularly called by one of her guests, Müller, who asked her to bring him breakfast with a side of bacon and black coffee. On one such occasion, she brought the breakfast to Müller's room, with Müller meeting her at the door. Leber stated that she noticed that he had been eating the same breakfast and offered to make him something different if he liked, but Müller simply stated that the breakfast was wonderful. Leber tried to enter the room to set the breakfast down, but Müller prevented her from doing so, claiming that he could manage himself before thanking her.[6]
Several days later, Leber was again contacted by Müller, who asked her to bring his usual breakfast to his room. When she arrived, Müller did not answer the door, so she entered the room herself to set down his breakfast. When she did, she noticed a dead body in the room's bathtub. Terrified, she contacted the police to report the body.[6]
