The subject of this article is part of an MCU franchise story that has been officially deemed to be non-canonical to the primary continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its events instead occur in another reality within the Multiverse. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Iso-8 Power Source Universe".

Lava Worms are a race of creatures native to Nidavellir.

History[]

Thor fought against lava worms on Nidavellir whilst on a mission to rescue Fandral and prevent the Marauders from stealing Uru weapons. They attacked the Vanir on Vanaheim, where Thor and Hogun managed to fight them off.[1]
