"You heard anything back from anybody at Langley?"
Captain America to Battlestar[src]

Langley is a town in the state of Virginia and home to the George Bush Center for Intelligence, main headquarters of the Central Intelligence Agency. As such, it is often used metonymically to refer to the CIA instead of the city.

History[]

Tracking a Bogey[]

An unknown flying object was seen leaving Gulmira, which the CIA discovered. An analyst from the Edwards Air Force Base called the CIA's Langley headquarters, and the agent there asked if the United States Air Force were responsible. The analyst said that they were not.[1]

CIA Recruits[]

In 2014, following the dissolution of S.H.I.E.L.D., Sharon Carter joined the CIA and trained with other operatives in Langley.[2]

Rawlins-Speech

William Rawlins gives a speech for the CIA recruits

William Rawlins gave a speech to the newest recruits at the George Bush Center for Intelligence in Langley, welcoming them into the agency. Later, he received a medal from Marion James for his outstanding service and was informed that James considers giving him a position of the Vice Director, given if she manages to become the new Director of the CIA. Afraid that his involvement in Operation Cerberus might be uncovered by the Homeland Security, Rawlins secrtly dispatched Anvil agents to kill Gunner Henderson, however, he then discovered that Frank Castle was alive.[3]

Discussing Wakanda[]

CIA Meeting

"Hey, Ross? You got a full tank of gas? Can you give me a ride back to Langley?"
"It's an eight-hour drive."
"Yeah. We can talk about the case."
Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and Everett Ross[src]

In light of the supposed kidnapping of Riri Williams by Wakanda, Everett Ross and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine returned to Langley and had a meeting with the U.S. State Secretary and the Defense Secretary at the George Bush Center for Intelligence. Ross denied the fact that Wakandans kidnapped Williams, but the State Secretary informed them that President James Ritson is considering proceeding with the offensive action against Wakanda. Ross warned against it, citing a third party being involved in the incident, before secretly informing Ramonda about the U.S. Government's plans.[4]
