Biography[]
Working for Cassandra Nova[]
Yuriko Oyama was born a mutant going under the codename Lady Deathstrike with retractable claws that stem from her fingernails, which were later coated in Adamantium. Lady Deathstrike was banished to the Void where she became one of Cassandra Nova's henchmen. Lady Deathstrike witnessed as Human Torch, Deadpool, and Wolverine were brought to their compound and greeted by Nova. However, Deadpool and Wolverine escaped when Alioth arrived.
When the Resistance commenced an ambush on the compound, Lady Deathstrike stood alongside the rest of Nova's henchmen and prepared for the fight. The two sides charged at each other, and Lady Deathstrike engaged in a fight with Wolverine. Later, she fought against Blade, who stabbed her in the stomach and slashed her throat. She soon got up to rejoin the fight. By the end of the battle, Lady Deathstrike had been defeated along with the rest of the henchmen, leaving the Resistance victorious.[3]
