La Respuesta[1] is a brand of Dominican rum. Freddy Malick used a bottle of La Respuesta to hide the vial of the Super Soldier Serum's key ingredient.
History[]
In 1931, Wilfred Malick had a vial of a key ingredient to the Super Soldier Serum in a bottle of La Respuesta. He hid in a train with the vial until it took him to Hell's Harbor and delivered it to Hydra.[2]
Alternate Universe[]
In an alternate 1931, Wilfred Malick recruited Alphonso Mackenzie and Deke Shaw to bring La Respuesta with to Hell's Harbor with him, secretly hiding a vial of a key ingredient to the Super Soldier Serum in one of the bottles. He brought the bottles, along with Mackenzie and Shaw, onto a train and fell asleep, while Mackenzie began to look through the bottles. However, Malick pulled a gun on them, so they stopped.
After arriving at Hell's Harbor, Mackenzie looked through the bottles and found the vials, before a shootout with Chronicoms began. Malick escaped the shootout with the vial and delivered the ingredient to Hydra.[2]
