History[]
Kidnapping of Captain Vassant[]
In 2024, LAF attempted to take advantage of the chaos which occurred after the Blip and make money. One attempt at this was kidnapping Captain Vassant, a mission led by Georges Batroc. The group took control of an American plane and killed the pilot, having Louie fly the plane. The plane was staked out by Falcon, who attempted to spy on Louie. Louie called Batroc over, but Falcon got out of view, and no one believed him. Falcon then broke into plane and began fighting the soldiers. Louie died in this action, but the plane's autopilot engaged. Falcon and Batroc fought as the remaining LAF members put on wingsuits and jumped out of the plane, with Vassant in tow.
Falcon followed the LAF members out of the plane in his EXO-7 Falcon suit and was chased by LAF helicopters, which Falcon had Redwing blow up. Batroc and Vassant joined another LAF member in a helicopter and approached the Libyan border. Batroc took Vassant out of the helicopter and Falcon blew it up. Vassant and Batroc entered another helicopter while missiles were shot at Falcon. Falcon destroyed several helicopters using the missiles and rescued Vassant, taking him out of the helicopter. A missile followed Falcon to the helicopter and blew it up, but Batroc had jumped out moments before[1] and survived. Batroc went on to help Karli Morgenthau and the Flag Smashers prepare to attack the Global Repatriation Council,[2] and participated in the attack, during which he was killed.[3]
