Kyle was a resident of San Francisco who became a zombie during the Zombie Apocalypse.

Zombie Apocalypse[]

Attack on San Francisco[]

Kyle lived in San Francisco in 2018, when a Quantum Virus escaped the Quantum Realm inside Janet van Dyne and Hank Pym, leading to the virus spreading quickly and turning humans into zombies. Kyle was at work when he was turned into a zombie, and a spatula soon fell into his neck.

Kyle began roaming the streets of San Francisco as a zombie and came across Shang-Chi, Katy Chen, Jimmy Woo, and other survivors, walking toward them among other zombies. Shang-Chi began to fight the zombies, including Kyle, grabbing him by the neck and punching him to the ground.[2]

Guarding the North Institute[]

Kyle reached Ohio and was met by Melina Vostokoff, who used her chemical mind control technology to take control of Kyle along with a large horde of Zombies. Kyle stood with a wall of zombies around the North Institute, guarding it as Kamala Khan and Blade Knight approached the institute. Blade Knight stopped his motorcycle in front of Kyle and talked to Vostokoff through the security system. At Vostokoff's commands, Kyle and the remaining zombies opened a path within the wall for Khan and Blade Knight to get through. Once they were through, Vostokoff ordered the closing of the path, and Kyle and the others obeyed.

Okoye then appeared on behalf of Wanda Maximoff, preparing to lead a Siege of the North Institute. Vostokoff ordered her zombies to take up arms and fight as Maximoff's zombies attacked. The battle resulted in the North Institute being destroyed, but Kyle survived.[1]

Pursuing Riri Williams[]

Riri Williams sought to break Kamala Khan out of the illusion she was trapped in by Red Queen. Kyle approached Williams as she fought the zombies and tried to get through to Khan.[3]
