Kyle was Harold Meachum's loyal personal assistant, and one of the few people who knew he was still alive.

Helping Harold Meachum[]
Kyle became the personal assistant and secretary of Harold Meachum. As such, he was trusted with the information that Harold was still alive, and was not permitted to tell anyone. When Harold's son, Ward Meachum walked in, Ward questioned if he was overworking Kyle. Harold responded saying that Kyle could take the rest of the day off. Kyle told Harold that it was midnight.[1] The next day, Harold asked Kyle to find information on a man who claimed to be Danny Rand. Kyle found out that he made a call to Colleen Wing. Harold told Ward to bribe Wing.[4]
Ice Cream for Breakfast[]

When Harold Meachum returned to life, he called Kyle to pick him up after going to Rand Enterprises. Meachum asked him what he would do if he found out he could live forever, while Kyle replied by saying he would eat ice cream for breakfast and lunch. Harold was fascinated by his assistant's decision, and Kyle thanked him, before Harold let him know that he was not complimenting him.
Later, Harold had Kyle call Ward over to his penthouse, in order to surprise him with his ressurection.[5]

Kyle is murdered by Harold Meachum
As Kyle packed up for the night, Harold Meachum invited him to his desk, where he had set up dozens of tubs of ice cream. Meachum asked him to call him by his first name and joked about being a new man. As the two sat down to eat, Kyle asked for vanilla flavored ice cream, stating that he did not like any of the fancy flavors. Meachum, angered by Kyle's ungrateful attitude, grabbed the ice cream scooper and bludgeoned him to death with Kyle repeatedly apologizing until he died.[5]
