Kumiho was a Deviant who fought the Eternals in Korea.
Biography[]

Kumiho wandering in Korea for hundreds of years, preying on people, resulting in locals creating legends about her nature. Eventually, Kumiho was found by another Deviant named Kappa, who then controlled her. Kumiho murdered a High Priest and devoured him, when Kim Bu-Sik tried to ask him about Kumiho, and tried to hunt him down as well. Kim tried to escape with the Samguk Sagi Kumiho, while Kumiho and her clones were confronted by Kim's bodyguards and warrior monks, although they could only hinder the Deviants.
Kumiho managed to catch up to Kim, however, he was rescued by Kingo and Sprite who fought off the Deviants. Kumiho used her illusions to avoid Kingo's attack and regrouped to strike the Eternals down. As Kumiho managed to seize Kingo, Sprite used her invisibility to get close to Kumiho and steal her bead, which was her source of cosmic energy. As soon as Sprite shattered her power, Kumiho and her clones retreated.[1]
Years later, Kumiho and the other deviants enthralled by Kappa were found by Ikaris and Sersi. The rest of the Eternals arrived to finish off the deviants. Kumiho was no match for them without her powers and died along with the others when Kappa was killed.[2]

- Deviant Physiology: Kumiho was an artificial being created by Arishem the Judge and was given superhuman abilities. However, the deviant evolved overtime.
- Superhuman Strength: Kumiho was very strong was able to take on multiple Eternals at once.
- Superhuman Durability: Kumiho withstood blasts from Kingo and some of the other Eternals.
- Superhuman Speed: Kumiho was able to scurry away from the Rescue of Kim Bu-Sik very quickly.
- Superhuman Agility: Kumiho was very agile and was able to get around quickly and easily.
- Superhuman Stamina: Kumiho battled Kingo for extended amounts of time.
- Superhuman Reflexes: Kumiho dodged many blasts by Kingo's cosmic energy.
- Longevity: Kumiho lived for at least 500 years.
Former Powers[]
- Cosmic Energy Manipulation: Kumiho gained the ability to manipulate energy to give her unnatural powers. She used an orb as her power source, but it was taken by Sprite, leaving her powerless.
- Replication: With the orb, Kumiho was able to replicate herself to make Kingo and Sprite battle an army of her.

- In the Korean folklore, Kumiho are creatures, resembling nine-tailed foxes, that can transform into beautiful women and seduce men, before devouring their flesh. They are the Korean counterpart of the Chinese Huli jing.
- In the comics, the race of Kumiho was hunted near extinction by humans and Samjokgu.
