Kraglin Obfonteri is a member of the Ravagers. He took part in a heist to steal the Embers of Genesis from the Collector's Museum on Knowhere.

Ravagers[]
Kidnapping T'Challa[]
In 1988, the Ravagers, led by Yondu Udonta, were tasked by Ego to abduct his son from Earth. The group arrived and noticed extra terrestrial readings in Wakanda which were off the charts. They then picked up a kid named T'Challa. In the spacecraft, Udonta berated Obfenteri and Taserface for grabbing the wrong kid. Although, Obfenteri tried to state his case.[1]
A New Start[]
As T'Challa grew up, he became known famously as Star-Lord. He transformed the Ravagers into a group that stole from the rich in order to help the poor. On one occasion, T'Challa even let Thanos join after talking him out of his genocide plan.[1]
Stealing the Embers[]
The Ravagers were proposed a mission by Nebula to steal the Embers of Genesis, which would help them give life to billions of people. They arrived in Knowhere to steal it from the Collector, but quickly turned on by Nebula, who had a debt to the Collector. Soon, Nebula broke them back out, explaining that it was always part of the plan; she frees her debt, but also helps them escape. The group took the embers and flew off before rendezvousing with Star-Lord and Yondu Udonta.[1]
Journey to Earth[]
During the mission, Star-Lord learned the truth about his family and decided to take everyone to reunite with them on Earth. The group were introduced to the Wakandans and given a party. During the party, Obfenteri talked to a Wakandan about jump points and how they made the user's face all wobbly and feel weird.[1]

Behind the Scenes[]
- While recording his lines as Kraglin Obfonteri, Sean Gunn ad-libbed a line which What If...? head writer A.C. Bradley felt to be the "funniest" of What If... T'Challa Became a Star-Lord?, but the scene had to be cut for pacing.[2]
