Kirtland Air Force Base is a United States Air Force installation located in Albuquerque, New Mexico in an area between the Sandia Mountains and the Manzano Mountains.[1]
History[]
General Thaddeus Ross and Major Kathleen Sparr traveled to Kirtland Air Force Base in order to assemble a military unit to capture the fugitive Bruce Banner. General Joe Greller, a friend of Ross, managed to enlist the help of Russian-born British special operations expert Emil Blonsky assigned by the Royal Marines to the unit, alongside a troop of soldiers including Craig Saunders, Jr., Samuel LaRoquette, Carl Curtis, Armand Martel, and Carl Parmenter. The unit boarded a plane that had arrived at the base and departed for Porto Verde, Brazil to capture Banner.[1]
