- In the comics, Kingo Sunen came from a Japanese settlement and learned the ways of the samurai. When hiding among humans, he was an action film star who played samurai.
Behind the Scenes
- Kumail Nanjiani has stated that he played Kingo by combining the wisecracking attitude of John McClane from Die Hard and the look of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.[5]
