The Kidnapping of Tony Stark was an attack and capturing of Tony Stark which resulted in him becoming Iron Man.

Background

Tony Stark graduated college at age seventeen and began selling weapons at his company Stark Industries.

Kidnapping

The Ten Rings got access to Stark Industries weapons and attacked Tony Stark. However, he built a suit of armor and used it to escape, surprising everyone at home.

Aftermath

Tony Stark became determined to figure out how the Ten Rings got access to Stark Industries weapons. He attacked the Ten Rings Base and a helicopter to learn that someone from within Stark Industries was selling the weapons. He and Pepper Potts independently realized that it was Obadiah Stane, leading to a fight which Stark won, killing Stane.
