Belyakov used her powers on people close to her and ultimately caused the deaths of 279 people in a brutal massacre. The so-called "Cambridge Incident" resulted in S.H.I.E.L.D. shutting down and HYDRA establishing a fascist government in the United States built on institutionalized bigotry against Inhumans.[2]
