For the real world Katya Belyakov, see Katya Belyakov.
"Take the Cambridge Incident. It was a setup. That girl shouldn't have been at that school in the first place."
"Where we're from, she died."
Phil Coulson and Daisy Johnson[src]

Katya Belyakov was a virtual recreation of the real-world person of the same name inside the Framework.

Rescue in Bahrain

"Thank you."
―Katya Belyakov (Framework) to Melinda May[src]
Unlike her real-world counterpart, Katya was saved by Melinda May during the Rescue in Bahrain, later thanking her outside the warehouse.[1]

The Cambridge Incident

"Even though S.H.I.E.L.D. knew she was Inhuman, they brought her back to the States and put her into a classroom. The rest is history."
Phil Coulson[src]
Following the mission, Katya was brought from Bahrain to the United States and began attending school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Belyakov used her powers on people close to her and ultimately caused the deaths of 279 people in a brutal massacre. The so-called "Cambridge Incident" resulted in S.H.I.E.L.D. shutting down and HYDRA establishing a fascist government in the United States built on institutionalized bigotry against Inhumans.[2]
