The Kaplan Residence is the home of Jeff, Rebecca, and William Kaplan as well as their dog, Greg. It also became the home of Billy Maximoff.

The Kaplan Residence was a two-story residential home in Eastview, New Jersey, where Jeff Kaplan and Rebecca Kaplan lived with their son, William, and their pet dog Greg. William, whose room was upstairs, decorated his space with a lot of movie posters.[1] On November 11, 2023,[2] the Kaplans were driving home when they were distracted by the eradication of the Westview Anomaly and got into a car crash, which killed William. However, Billy Maximoff,[1] whose body was being deleted due to the Westview Anomaly's erasure, transferred his soul[3] into William's freshly deceased body. The Kaplans returned home after "William" was discharged from the hospital.

Arriving home, Greg barked at Maximoff, having discerned that it was not William. Maximoff looked around at the photos on the wall and made his way into the kitchen, where he used his mind-reading abilities to read the thoughts of his "parents", who were unhappy at their son's amnesiac state and wanted him to return to normal. Maximoff then informed them that he would go upstairs to his room, believing that it would jog his memory, and asked if they could have dinner later. Heading upstairs into William's room, Maximoff took a look at the pictures and William's other belongings before taking stock of his appearance in the mirror. He then looked at William's face and declared that he was now William Kaplan.

Maximoff lived at the Kaplan Residence as William Kaplan for the next three years, and updated William's room to have posters and iconography related to witchcraft. During Fall 2026, Maximoff informed his boyfriend Eddie that he was not exactly William Kaplan, and took him into the Kaplan Residence to show him the research he had done in his room. The duo then left the house to investigate further. Maximoff then returned that night as the Kaplans were sitting in front of the television. Rebecca invited "William" to watch a horror movie with them, although Maximoff declined, citing that he had homework. Maximoff then went to his room and began researching Agatha Harkness. Having learned about the Witches' Road, Maximoff took his car keys and left the house to seek out Harkness.[1]
