Kalkartho was a tentacled creature which attacked Earth, only to be stopped by Wong and Stephen Strange.
History[]
Kalkartho started moving toward Earth, which gave Stephen Strange visions accompanied by headaches. It moved through the Astral Dimension and attacked Strange at the New York Sanctum, prompting him and Wong to enter the Astral Dimension and go to the Moon, where they used energy from the Magenta Dimension in an attempt to lure Kalkartho away from Earth. Kalkartho appeared at the Moon and attacked Wong, who avoided the attacks and fainted. Strange and Wong returned to the Sanctum and lured Kalkartho there, allowing the creature to enter the physical realm. Wong activated the Bonds of Baelzar, which brought Kalkartho to the Magenta Dimension, along with Wong and Strange. Kalkartho became attracted to the energy clouds in the dimension and left Earth alone, allowing Wong and Strange to return safely to Earth.[1]

- Life-Force Absorption: Kalkartho was able to drain the energy from entire planets, leaving them completely devoid of life before moving on to other planets. It was able to consume entire clouds of energy.
- Tentacle Manipulation: Kalkartho had tentacles which it used to attack Wong and Stephen Strange in its attempt to consume the Earth's energy.
- Electromagnetism Manipulation: Kalkartho could create electromagnetic pulses surrounding its tentacles which were powerful enough to render Wong unconscious.
