Joshua Crow became a Catholic priest in Portland, Oregon.^[1] One day, after dropping off a donation to the Salvation Army, Crow was kidnapped and possessed by a demon named Raum. Crow was reported missing to the Oregon Police Department after attendees noticed that he did not attend the church's annual fundraiser.^[2]

Raum used Crow's body as a host while committing terrible actions such as attempting to take advantage of Gabriella Rosetti during confession^[1] and later, helping to use Rosetti's body as an unwilling surrogate mother for Kthara. Crow was finally freed of Raum's hold when Daimon Helstrom used the power of a special dagger. Crow screamed in pain as he was exorcised and the demon was killed.^[3]
