Joseph Vasquez is the husband of Eileen Vasquez and the father of Topher Vasquez and Sofia Vasquez, who became paraplegic because of his son.
Biography[]
Joseph Vasquez was the husband of Eileen Vasquez, with whom he fathered two children, Topher Vasquez and Sofia Vasquez. When Topher was a teenager, his inconsiderate use of Gibborim Rocks he had found after the destruction of the Geosciences Research Center caused Joseph to have his legs paralyzed because of Topher attacking him in a violent outburst. From this moment, Joseph lost both his legs and his son, who had to leave the family.
A decade later, Joseph saw his son returning home, begging his family to accept him again. However, Joseph was still very afraid of his son. When the Runaways arrived in an attempt to defuse the situation, Joseph and his family told them how Topher had turned into some kind of monster in Joseph's eyes. Joseph then watched without being able to do anything as Topher attacked Sofia before being confronted by the Runaways, which ended up with Topher suffering from severe injuries much to Joseph's horror.[1]
