John Epps witnessed Luke Cage's feats of strength and skill at the Harlem Jets practice field, and approached him to talk about a possible sponsorship deal. Epps was taken aside by Bobby Fish who told him that any offer he made had to involve a dollar sign and several zeroes.[1]
