Joe is an older Jamaican who frequents Gwen's.
Biography[]
Joe was playing dominos with Larry and Robert in Gwen's when Luke Cage came in looking for Nigel Garrison. The owner, Ingrid Mackintosh, pointed Cage towards the domino players for information, Joe asked him to move out of the way and stop blocking the sun. When Cage asked if they knew who he was, they said they did, but they were not in Harlem so did not give him any information. Cage then left Joe's table as Mouse attempted to flee the restaurant.[1]
John McIver's revenge plot against Mariah Dillard turned out for the worse as Dillard retaliated by killing many of Joe's friends in a massacre at Gwen's. Joe went to Dillard's court hearing and lashed out at her, yelling until he got carried away.[2]
